Christmas has come and gone. I love the holiday season...Christmas songs, lights, Kyla's tap performance, my nephews' play in Prescott, shopping, presents and 3 weeks off of work. This Christmas as always I enjoyed watching the kids open their presents and get excited, but then there was this emptiness that filled my heart. Christmas is so much more than the tree and the gifts. Christmas is celebrating the miracle & birth of our SAVIOR Jesus. This Christmas I am praying for a miracle for my mom. She has colon cancer that has spread to her organs and lungs.

Jesus, I thank you for every day that I get to spend with my mom. I thank you for her love for you, my dad, her 3 daughters and 8 grandchildren. Jesus, I know that her life is in your hands and that you have the power to heal her body. All I can do is love my mom and pray for a miracle.

"Holy, Holy, Holy"...

As I'm driving in the car listening to the radio, I hear Kyla singing along to the praise song "Holy Holy Moly". (That wasn't a typo.)

Kyla scored her first soccer goal tonight!! She was so happy!!

I cant believe how fast my baby girl has grown up. I was just looking at a picture tonight of Kyla when she was 2 . It is so weird to remember her baby cheeks, the sound of her little voice, and what she was like then. I cherish every moment because they go by so quickly.
